Tom Daggett, President

Hutchinson Manufacturing started the year I was born so you might say I was born into the business. By age 12, my dad was finding things for me to do around the plant to keep busy. When I reached the age of 16, I had first-hand experience running many of the processes in the plant from shearing, saw, press brake and weld. Following high school, a degree from the University of Minnesota and a short stint in other employment, I came back to work in the family business.

Hutchinson has been good to us and in return I have been involved with the community serving as Chairman of the Hutchinson Area Health Care Board, Chairman of the ISD #425 Hutchinson School District, plus serving on numerous task forces for local and regional development.

In addition to Hutchinson Manufacturing and NuCrane, we hold interest in real estate, plastic compression molding, agri-business after-market sales, and wind energy.

Outside interests include X-Country and downhill skiing, biking, sailing, fishing, and of course I play a poor game of golf.
