HMI has just completed the first of four Jet Engine Test Stands for a major European airline. These stands will be located at Charles De Gaul Airport in Paris and be used for maintenance operations and the re-certification of engines. Shown here the unit is to be load tested to certify the lift capability. HMI played a vital role in the design for economical manufacturability of weld joints and machining.

Hutchinson Manufacturing is well under way in the pursuit of adding weld certification to the Canadian Welding Bureau CSA W47.1 Division II and has engaged in an agreement with R.W. Little & Associates for professional weld engineering services.

We are on schedule for certification in late December. The initial purpose is for HMI to provide energy related product to the Labrador area in eastern Canada.

Hutchinson Manufacturing has purchased a new Milltronics HBM4 CNC Horizontal Milling Machine. The HBM4 is a heavy duty and highly accurate table type machine with cutting envelope dimensions of x= 86”, y= 63, Z=61, w= 20. This machine will be on line mid December of this year.

Hutchinson Manufacturing (HMI) will be producing the exterior panels for the construction of the new Devon Energy Performing Arts Auditorium in Oklahoma City. The architect for this project has used HMI’s services similarly on a previous building design.
